Moon Spotting

Children are universally intrigued by the mysteries of outer-space and most children love to explore outside in the darkness.  Why not combine the two and try a little moon spotting to nurture your child’s sense of wonder?  Learning about the phases of the moon is a great way for children to connect to the natural world and I had so much fun sharing some resources for doing just that over at Playful Learning today.

I hope you will give it a try with the children in your life and that you find the resources helpful.  Don’t forget to download the printable moon journal!  It’s a wonderful tool for tracking observations and encouraging further investigations.  Enjoy!

Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear from you!
